WCS field staff work alongside Congolese government counterparts in the Nouabale-Ndoki National Park, Conkouati-Douli National Park, and the Lac Télé Community Reserve. WCS also collaborates with local communities and industry to manage logging concessions for wildlife, providing a buffer to the Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park. WCS is currently advising the government on the creation of a new national park in the Batéké plateaux area in the south west of the country. Alongside partners from the EU and WWF, WCS provides technical advice and support to the government in the Odzala-Kokoua National Park and its periphery.
